London being the most connected city in the world offers a range of options to travellers.

By Air

London is served by five main airports.



Heathrow Airport (LHR):

  • Take the Piccadilly Line towards Cockfosters and change at Green Park.
  • From Green Park take the Jubilee Line towards Stratford and change at Canning Town.
  • Take the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

Alternatively, you can:

  • Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and change onto the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street.
  • Change to the Jubilee Line towards Stratford and change at Canning Town.
  • Take the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

London City Airport (LCY):

  • Take the DLR from City Airport to Canning Town.
  • Change onto the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

Gatwick Airport (LGW):

  • Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria and change onto the District Line to Westminster.
  • From Westminster take the Jubilee Line towards Stratford and change at Canning Town.
  • From Canning Town take the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

London Stansted Airport (STN):

  • Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street and take the Central Line to Bank.
  • Change onto the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

Luton Airport (LTN):

  • Take the Thameslink Train to West Hampstead Thameslink and walk to West Hampstead Station
  • Take the Jubilee Line towards Stratford and change at Canning Town.
  • Take the DLR towards Beckton and alight at Prince Regent for ExCeL.

By Road

When driving to ExCeL, you can follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL London. There is easy access from the M25, M11, the North Circular, A406 and A13.

ExCeL offers on-site pay-and-display car parking (£20 for up to 24 hours) with 3,070 parking spaces. Visit ExCeL’s parking info page for more information. Motorcycles can be parked free of charge in the designated motorcycle parking area.


By Public Transport

ExCeL London is connected to the Jubilee line at Canning Town via a three-minute DLR (Docklands Light Railway) journey to ExCeL’s dedicated station Prince Regent.

London’s public transport network is divided into nine travel zones. ExCeL is in Transport for London Zone 3. You will need to buy a visitor Oyster card or use a contactless payment card for using London’s public transport (cash fares are no longer accepted on London buses).

By Train

London has a number of main rail stations which can all be easily accessed from ExCeL. For National Rail enquiries you can visit National Rail. You can also purchase rail tickets online via trainline.
