Description: Panelists who have extensive experience winning or organizing competitions in data mining will discuss questions such as the following:

  • What has the research community learned from data mining contests?
  • What are the most important privacy concerns going forward?
  • How can contests be designed to maximize the benefits for sponsors participants, the research community, and all others concerned?
