The annual ACM SIGKDD conference is the premier international forum for data mining researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to share their ideas, research results and experiences. KDD-09 will feature keynote presentations, oral paper presentations, poster sessions, workshops, tutorials, panels, exhibits, demonstrations, and the KDD Cup competition.

The full paper submission deadline is now closed. KDD'09 received a record-breaking number of submissions: 561 for the Research Track (up 10% from 510 last year), and 125 for the Industrial/Government Applications Track (up 50% from 83 last year). With a 15% increase in overall submission numbers from last year, the appeal of Paris is clearly showing! We expect the papers to be sent out to reviewers in a couple of days. With such an excellent number of submissions we are confident to be able to put together a very strong program.
