We cordially invite you to partner with BPDM and serve as a Mentor, Panelist, and/or Presenter in this year’s program, being held August 12-13, 2016, with the ACM SIGKDD 2016 Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining in San Francisco, CA. You can find out more about BPDM 2016, including our tentative agenda, at http://www.dataminingshop.com.
If you have availability in your schedule and accept this invitation, we kindly ask that you fill out the following Senior Participants Registration Form so that we can make the best use of your time and expertise. Below is a short description of each role.
Mentors: you’ll be needed Aug12th and 13th for a variety of activities throughout each day. You are also invited to attend our Evening Meet & Greet reception (Aug. 12, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm), where food and drinks will be served. Mentoring activities will connect you with student participants to answer questions and provide advice on a variety of areas regarding technical topics, career paths, etc.
Presenters/Panelists: you’ll be needed Aug.12 or 13th, time dependent on the session you’ll be participating on. Presenters will speak on their latest research or advanced technical topics specific to the field. Panelists will participate on in-depth discussions focused on topics such as “Publishing Tips and Best Practices”. If possible, we ask that all Panelists and Presenters also strongly consider serving as Mentors.
We sincerely hope you will be available to join us. If so, please kindly complete the aforementioned Senior Participants Registration Form. If you are unavailable but have any recommendations, we would much appreciate sending us the name and contact information.
Thank you very much for your time, and we look forward to your response!
