Instructions for Poster Presentations

1. Each author will have allotted poster area of 4' 4' (4 feet by 4 feet) in which to post their content.  Poster boards are 4' 8' and each poster board will have 2 posters.  Authors will need to lay out their papers carefully in the space allotted.  It is most important not to make the poster too busy, it should be direct and informative.

2. Authors should bring along their layouts.  NO printing services are available to authors at the conference hotel.

3. Posters should include title and authors, then the core ideas of the paper (e.g. introduction), graphics describing the system/technique and displayed results (e.g. plots).  Note that graphics and color are ALWAYS best.

4. Authors must prepare at most 2 slides for a 2 minute presentation at the regularly scheduled time to advertise their papers.

5. The hotel should have tape/staplers for authors to use to set up their posters.  To be safe, authors should plan to bring their own.

6. Authors are required to man their poster boards at the reception.  There will be lots of traffic and authors can expect to discuss and present their papers frequently.  Authors should get to the reception area early, eat and drink early, and get ready to present!
